Kristen Pressner: Women in Leadership

You’ll hear:

  • We need to teach our children important leadership lessons
  • What are the essential skills that a woman leader must possess?
  • These are the top challenges that women face in leadership roles

Women in leadership

Today, we will be discussing leadership and specifically women in leadership. I would like to take down the HR curtain and expose the true rules of the game. Kristen Pressner, Vice President and Head, Human Resources Europe, Middle East and Africa, Roche Diagnostics, the largest biotech company in the world, has been invited. She is currently with Roche Diagnostics, which employs over 90K people worldwide.

Kristen has extensive experience in the United States as well as Europe, in a variety of positions in all areas of HR. Kristen is the HR Manager for Roche’s largest business region, with over 7,000 employees spread across 4 continents and 150 countries.

Kristen was invited to speak because she spoke on leadership at the Women In Leadership Economic Forum Dubai. I wanted to give Kristen a wider audience and give Smart Talk nation an opportunity to hear her perspective (who, by the way, is also a mother to 4 children).
