Dr. Joan Williams is a Distinguished Professor of Law at University of California, Hastings College of the Law. She has co-authored seven books. The New York Times described Joan Williams as “something of a rockstar” . She was also awarded the American Bar Association Foundation’s Distinguished Scholar Award (2011), and the ABA’s Margaret Brent Award to Women Lawyers of Achievement (2006).
