Jack Nekhala (with Michael Nusinkis) have more than 10 years of combined experience in the ecommerce and textile industries. Jack and Michael have witnessed many new fads. Regardless of them all, none of these have ever provided a real solution to the dreaded “fitted sheet” problem. Like you—and so many others—no matter what they tried, they could not get the fitted sheet to stay on the bed.
This all came about in September 2015. As an expert in the trade Jack Nekhala, an owner of Luxor Linens.com, brought home what he knew was a high-quality sheet set for he and his wife. Jack wasn’t happy with the quality of the sheets set and was disappointed to discover that it would not pop off the bed in the middle the night, despite all his efforts.
Jack did exactly what millions of people do every day. He turned to Amazon and purchased a product that had several reviews which promised that it solved the “fitted sheet problem.” A few days later, when the item arrived, Jack was further irritated when he discovered that this “solution” required him to lift his heavy mattress four times. For each corner, he had to do it twice! Jack is big, but it was more than a single man job. Jack was angry and unhappy and threw the product away.
As is often the case, Jack likes to say, “desperation is the key to creation,” and inspiration came when he least expected it. While he was waiting in traffic to get to work, he had an Ah-ha moment. He knew immediately that a fitted sheet that held 360 degrees would solve his problem.
Jack tried out many ideas over the following three weeks. In his New Jersey workshop, the Bed Scrunchie was born.
No more fitted sheets sticking to your bed! The Bed Scrunchie is straightforward and easy to use, and like all great inventions, it causes us all to ask, “Why didn’t I think of that?” It is so fantastic that you will never want to sleep without it. In addition to the 360-hold, there are many other uses for The Bed Scrunchie. You can convert any flat top sheet to a fitted sheet with the help of this tool. The Bed Scrunchie also works well as an extender for fitted sheets if they are too long.
